Ignis aurum probat, miseria fortes viros refers to the latin adagio alluding to refining of character through difficult circumstances
Part of a series of works portraying unexpected catastrophes of substantial extent causing significant  damage, eventual loss, or permanent change through FIRE. These unforeseen events of great loss are changing the world we live in, affecting living organisms and our structure systems. As the perils we face are multiple, our wildlife and peoples’ future survival is at stake. Here, the lands and cities that have been swept by raging fires that took place in 2020.
In these circumstances how can we step up and take a proactive stance ?
These works intend to awaken our capacity to respond effectively. Perhaps even if possible create an awareness with an outreach to younger generations.  An experiential installation and process  has been imagined for this. Irons in the fire !
