First expedition to la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta explored el bosque humédo and el bosque seco of the North face of the 2nd highest costal ranges in the world, The scope of this ecosystem, often underestimated, is essential to survival of our planets biodiversity and it provides and regulates the most important sources of water to all  inhabitants, farmers and wildlife of the region which needless to says has an impact on all natural diversity.
